At HVAC Review Hub, transparency is an important part of how we share product reviews, buying guides, and maintenance advice. This page explains our participation in affiliate programs, how we may earn commissions, and what that means for the recommendations you see on our site.
What affiliate programs we participate in
HVAC Review Hub participates in several affiliate and advertising programs, including the Amazon Associates program. When you click on certain links to products and make a purchase, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. These programs help support the ongoing research, testing, and editorial work that powers our content.
How commissions are earned
Here’s how the affiliate process typically works:
- Click tracking: Links to participating retailers contain tracking codes.
- Referral: If you click a tracked link and complete a qualifying purchase, the retailer credits us with a referral.
- Commission: We receive a percentage or fixed fee for certain purchases. The exact rate varies by program and product category.
Does this affect our recommendations?
Short answer: no. Our editorial independence and reader trust come first. The products we recommend are selected through a combination of hands-on testing, technical research, manufacturer specifications, and feedback from HVAC professionals and homeowners. Whether we earn a commission from a product link does not influence the honest evaluation of its performance, value, or suitability for different needs.
How we maintain editorial integrity
We follow these principles to keep our content reliable and objective:
- Expertise: Articles and reviews are produced or reviewed by writers and consultants with HVAC experience and technical knowledge.
- Evidence-based reviews: Recommendations are based on testing data, industry standards, and long-term usage when possible.
- Independence: We do not accept payment in exchange for positive reviews. Sponsors do not dictate editorial content or final product ratings.
- Clear labeling: Affiliate links and sponsored posts are identified so you can make informed choices.
How to recognize affiliate links
On HVAC Review Hub, affiliate links are embedded in product names, images, or call-to-action buttons. If you prefer not to support the site via affiliate purchases, you can search for the same item directly on the retailer’s site without using our links. However, using our links is one of the easiest ways to support our continued work at no extra cost to you.
Final note
We appreciate your trust. Earning a commission through affiliate programs helps us keep content free, pay for testing equipment, and compensate expert contributors — all while maintaining the honest, practical guidance homeowners and professionals rely on.
